Many travellers fly into Arba Minch and out of Jinka (or the reverse) to avoid backtracking. The route links Konso, the Weyto valley, Turmi, Omorate and Mago.
Day 1 climbs to Konso and drops into the Weyto valley, then reaches Turmi. Following days cover Hamer, Karo, Dassanech and Mursi communities.
