A day-by-day look at your journey.
Meet your guide at Jinka airport or hotel and head into Mago National Park, the savanna that borders Mursi lands. At the village you spend time with a Mursi family — lip-plates, cattle culture and the realities of life on the Omo's eastern bank are all explained by your guide, who speaks to people directly. On the way back we stop in an Ari village near Jinka, where farming, pottery and blacksmithing give a very different picture from the pastoral south.
