Tents, a camp chef and a riverside setting — here is how a camping night in the Omo works.

Camping in the Omo Valley is simpler than most people expect, and more comfortable than they fear.
A crew pitches dome tents with foam mattresses, a dining tent and a bucket-shower and toilet tent. A camp chef cooks dinner, often from fresh local ingredients.
A sleeping bag, headlamp, insect repellent and warm layer for cool mornings. We provide the rest.
You wake up to river sounds, watch the sunset without a schedule, and travel more slowly than a lodge itinerary allows.

Visas, money, SIM cards, safety and what to expect on the ground.
